Beat the valley heat with these easy summer styles!

Undone Ponytail: The classic ponytail is easily updated by adding volume near the crown and leaving a few face framing pieces to highlight your best assets--that bright smile, sultry eyes, and glowing complexion. To achieve this look a-la-Jessica Biel follow these simple steps:

1. Spritz a texturizing spray such as ISO's DAILY SPRAY WAX or Sebastian's TEXTURIZER on damp hair and let air dry.

2. Backcomb lightly at the crown to add instant volume and lift. The more you backcomb, the more volume you will achieve. For a sultry nighttime look, try backcombing more sections of hair.

3. Pull into a ponytail at ear level and secure with an elastic band.

Bonus tip: Wrap a small section of hair around the elastic band and secure with a bobby pin.

4. Loosen a few pieces of hair around the face to give your pony an undone kind of look.

Beachy Waves: Easy and relaxed yet still dressed-up, tousled waves are always a summer favorite. Get sexy, beachy waves like Victoria's Secret supermodels Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum by following these easy steps:

1. Spray damp hair with a texturizer such as the ones mentioned in the udone ponytail steps (ISO's Daily Spray Wax or Sebastian's Texturizer.

2. Partially dry locks with a diffuser.

*CAUTION: Do not run fingers through strands. It will cause frizzing.

3. Curl hair with a curling iron randomly alternating between wider sections and thinner sections. The key is to not look entirely perfect. A little bit messy and asymmetrical is ok.

4. Gently run fingers through cooled curls or tousle head to loosen them.

Bonus tip: Spray hair with a dry shampoo to add more texture.

Fishtail Braid: This braid adds a twist to the traditional plait or french braids. The intricacy and undone look of the fishtail braid makes it a versatile style that can easily be taken from day to night. Follow these steps to achieve a sexy side fishtail braid like Leona Lewis:

1. Pull hair to one side without securing it.

2. Divide hair into two even sections.

3. Take a small piece of hair from the outside of one section and wrap it over the top of that section and under the other section.

4. Repeat step 3 with the opposite section. Continue pulling small pieces of hair over the top of one section and under the opposite section through the length of the ponytail.

5. Secure ends with a clear elastic band and gently "rough up" the braid by pulling out a few strands to give this style a fun, messy look.
